Lenovo has recently launched their new series of ThinkPads that come equipped with Intel's new Centrino Pro and Centrino Duo technology, previously named Santa Rosa. the ThinkPads launched included the ThinkPad X61 and X61s notebooks, the X61 Tablet PC, the first ThinkPad T61 14-inch widescreen notebook and the first ever R Series widescreen, the R61 14-inch widescreen notebook. Also launched was the Lenovo 3000 N200 15-inch widescreen notebook.

The ThinkPad T61 and R61 14-inch notebooks start at approximately RM7,188 and RM4,788, respectively, while the ThinkPad X61 notebook and X61 Tablet PC start at RM6,888 and RM7,888 respectively. The availability and pricing for the N200 15-inch widescreen notebook price will be announced at a later date.
ThinkPad Ultraportable Notebooks – Extra Mileage Machines (ThinkPad X61 and X61s and X61 Tablet PC)
More than thin and light, Lenovo’s new ultraportable notebooks help road warriors eliminate plugs and wires. Also, by enabling Lenovo's new Battery Stretch control, users can gain up to 15 percent longer battery life to finish a presentation or current work by simply selecting functions to temporarily disable in the Power Manager ThinkVantage software. Powered by Intel Centrino Pro mobile technology, the notebooks give users ultimate computing capabilities.
The new ThinkPad X Series ultraportables offer iron clad security with features like the Client Security Solution, a unique hardware-software solution to manage passwords and encryption keys, along with optional fingerprint readers.
The ThinkPad X61 Tablet puts a new style on tablet computing with features that make the transition from pen and paper intuitive and user-friendly. With SuperView, a direct bonding technology in SXGA+ resolution screens, users experience lower reflectivity than similar panel technologies for excellent readability outdoors, even in direct sunlight. The technology helps prevent scratching, making the Tablet PC extremely durable under harsh conditions. Also, with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, users can train their notebook to recognize their own unique handwriting.
